Introduction

WMA is committed to increasing acquisition opportunities to small businesses. This site is designed to assist anyone who is interested in doing business with WMA or wants information about WMA’s Acquisition and Procurement Program. The WMA Acquisition and Procurement Program support seven (7) major components that spans across locations in 15 countries, 5 states and the District of Columbia.

WMA is committed to maximizing the opportunities for small business in all of its acquisitions – a policy set forth by statue and encouraged by the Small Business Administration and the DoW’s Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). WMA’s OSBP reviews acquisition strategies and advises Contracting Officers to set aside requirements for small business concerns when applicable. The OSBP acts as a liaison between small business entities and the requiring offices within WMA, enabling the requiring offices to learn about the capabilities of small businesses.
